THE AMAZING ‘75-DAYS’ BETWEEN  THE

CLOSE OF THE TRIBULATION

AND THE START OF THE MILLENNIUM

Here is the essence of this remarkable prophecy from Daniel chapter 12.

        [EVENT #1] "Now at that time Michael, the great prince who stands guard over the sons of your people, will arise. And there will be a time of distress such as never occurred since there was a nation until that time...’’ (v.1)

        [EVENT #2] “And many of those who sleep in the dust of the ground will awake, these to everlasting life, but the others to disgrace and everlasting contempt.” (v.2)

        [EVENT #3] “And those who have insight will shine brightly like the brightness of the expanse of heaven, and those who lead the many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever...” (v.3)

        [TIME-span #1] “And [the angel] said to the man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, "How long will it be until the end of these wonders?" And ...he raised his right hand and his left toward heaven, and swore by Him who lives forever that it would be for a time, times, and half a time [1260 days, Rev. 12:6 & 14]; and as soon as they finish shattering the power of the holy people, all these events will be completed ... “ (v.7)

       [TIME-span #2] "And from the time that the regular sacrifice is abolished, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days.”  (v.11)

       [TIME-span #3] "How blessed is he who keeps waiting and attains to the 1,335 days ...”  (v.12) Daniel 12:1-13

They symmetry of Daniel 12 is obvious.

The first 3 verses spell out the chapter’s 3 great events.

        1. The Great Tribulation. (Mat. 24:21)

        2. The Resurrection of Old Testament & Tribulation Saints at the end of the Great Tribulation (believers of this current Church-age are             resurrected/raptured just before the start of the Great Tribulation, 1 Thes. 4:13-18).

        3. The start of the glorious Millennial Kingdom for all born-again believers.

The 3 corresponding time periods are found in these verses...

        1. Verse 7—1260 days, or 31/2 years from the “Abomination of Desolation,” i.e., the desecration of the Jewish Temple, at which point the Great             Tribulation BEGINS (and thus the starting point for the whole series of time-periods to follow) until the END of the Great Tribulation.

        2. Verse 11—1290 days, (“time, times, and half a time, or 1290 days) This is 30 days beyond the 1260 days above. (30 days after close of Tribulation)

        3. Verse 12—1335 days, at which point the Millennial Kingdom Of Christ STARTS, (45 days beyond the 1290 days; 75 days after the Tribulation).

Thus, from the start of the Great Tribulation to the end of the Great Tribulation, there will be 1260 days. At that point Jesus has returned and “cut those days short.” 30-Days later the Resurrection occurs. 45-Days later the Kingdom starts—a total of 75-Days between Christ’s Coming & the start of the Everlasting Kingdom of Christ.
