COMPELLED TO VOTE... & the Golden Statue of Daniel 3
Specific events may be mentioned in the following study. But irrespective of those events, the current trends in the world
as they relate to Bible Prophecy are the focus of this article. Therefore, the article remains relevant and timeless.
In recent national elections the majority of Americans voted NOT to abolish human slaughter houses (abortion of tiny human beings) and NOT to abolish the repugnant scene of men marrying men and women marrying women—a scene which was repulsive and unthinkable to their own grandparents.
Millions of those anti-biblical voters were professing “Christians.” When these 7 million or so “evangelicals” voted for a president who stands for this darkness, they voted to overturn the view of Jesus Christ on God-ordained marriage, and the view of God on the abomination of killing children
The view of God on Unborn Children—
Behold, a virgin shall be with child [Jesus in the womb], and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. (Mat. 1:23) NOTE: The mother was not with “a body part,” but “with child,” in this case, Jesus!
The view of Jesus on Marriage—
And He answered and said to them, "Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning 'made them male and female,' "and said, 'For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh'? "So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate." (Matthew 19:4-6)
NOTE: “Let not man separate” means leave God-ordained marriage AS IS!
So far Christians in America are not compelled to vote either way. Yet huge numbers still can’t get it right. They don’t know how to align themselves with the Bible at the ballot box. What if we had been compelled to vote for a certain ungodly candidate and his gods of abomination? But no, we had a free choice.
In the third chapter of Daniel three Jewish believers in the “Most High God,” Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, were compelled to vote by bowing to the statue of the false gods of Babylon. They didn’t have a choice at the ballot box because they would be thrown into a fiery incinerator if they refused. They chose the incinerator. They stood with Jesus. So Jesus stood with them and delivered them from the fire.
On November 6, 2012 [and again in 2020], millions of those who claim to be believers in Jesus Christ voted AGAINST the views of Jesus Christ. They aligned themselves with those thousands who booed God at the Democratic National Convention (2012). America is headed for JUDGMENT.
LEFT:
We still have a choice to refuse to vote against the Bible. The 3 believers in Daniel 3 were compelled to vote against the Bible. Yet they refused.
Who among us Believers in Jesus Christ stores up the Word of God in our hearts, straight from the Bible, as a "light into our path" when we enter the voting booth to mark our 'X' as we "choose this day whom we will serve"?
(Psa 119:105; Jos 24:15)
RIGHT:
When they booed God at the 2012 Democratic National Convention, they bowed to the same false “god” Shadrach & his friends refused to bow to.
Who has forgotten that dark event?
Who Protested?
When the three Jewish believers, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, were compelled to “boo” God by bowing down to the god’s of Babylon as represented in a giant gold-plated statue, what did they do? They protested. Not just with their lips, but with their actions. (Dan. 3)
Yet when God was actually booed at the Democratic National Convention (2012) we didn’t hear a peep of protest from a single member of the president’s cabinet. This explains the darkness of a White House agenda that encourages the violent butcher of tiny people we label as “fetuses,” and promotes the marrying of grooms to grooms and brides to brides.
“The Spirit Of The Antichrist”
I didn’t make this term— “the spirit of the antichrist”— up. God did. Here it is,
“...every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God; and this is the spirit of the antichrist, of which you have heard that it is coming, and now it is already in the world. 1 John 4:3
The spirit that does not confess Jesus will boo God, will butcher babies in the darkness behind the sanitized closed doors of “health care,” and will celebrate the ethics of Sodom & Gomorrah as “civil rights.” The spirit of the antichrist is deeply embedded in American government—at the highest levels. As the passage says, it is already here. And it is growing.
“You Have Heard That It Is Coming “
The passage above says that “the spirit of the antichrist” is coming. Other passages (Dan. 7; Rev. 13) relate this prophecy to the ultimate “man of lawlessness.” (1 Thes. 2:3-4)
This is the Antichrist. (RIGHT)
He will compel people to vote his way. There will be no protests, unless one is willing to stand up for Jesus and die for Him—and many will.
By far, most won’t. (Rev. 13:3-4)
Too many self-professing Christians mistook their freedom and God-given stewardship at the ballot box as freedom to vote “politically,” rather than “Biblically.” But our freedom in Christ is a stewardship to vote Biblically.
Single Issues? Biblical Issues Christians fall into the worldly thinking that goes like this: “Abortion? Gay Marriage? You don’t make political decisions on the basis of a single issue. For to do so is ‘fringe, far right, radical, rigid’ “ etc, ad nauseum... But friends, if you are believing yourself a “Christian,” here is a single issue:
“You shall have no other gods before Me.” (Exo. 20:3)
Jesus considered it the “foremost of the commandments.” (Mat. 22:38) That is a “single issue” worthy of your vote. God has told us His will on the other issues.
Americans Taken Captive To Babylon
In the 2012 elections (AND MANY ELECTIONS SINCE), Christians have been taken captive into “Babylon.” This is very much like the Jews, who were taken captive into 6th century BC occultic Babylon. After years of “booing” God by turning their backs on God, they were physically removed from their God-given land to the sin-loving kingdom of King Nebuchadnezzar.
The only difference with America is rather than being rooted out of our land, God has given us over to our love of Babylonian godlessness so that the spirit and spell of Babylon blankets the halls of our government and institutions and the homes of way too many people. And just as true believers in God were carried away in the Babylonian captivity with the unbelieving Jews (Daniel, Ezekiel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego), so too are true believers in America today taken in captivity to the American-Babylonianism that pervades our society.
How do we live in this situation?
Both the Old Testament and the New Testament provide us with the same answer.
1. The Old Testament
'Build houses and live in them; and plant gardens, and eat their produce. 'Take wives and become the fathers of sons and daughters, and take wives for your sons and give your daughters to husbands, that they may bear sons and daughters; and multiply there and do not decrease. 'And seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the LORD on its behalf; for in its welfare you will have welfare.' "Do not let your prophets who are in your midst and your diviners deceive you...” (Jer. 29:5-8)
2. The New Testament
[Pray]... for kings and all who are in authority, in order that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. (1 Tim.2:1-2)
Pray for our leaders...
America Is Not Babylon America is under the spell of Babylon.
The prophecies about the rise of Babylon in the last days refer to literal Babylon—the same one that began in Genesis 10 as the mother of all peoples, tongues, tribes and nations, and all false religions throughout history. That Babylon pulsates restlessly in the sands of modern day Iraq. It is specifically referred to in Revelation 18 as the “great city,” and in Jeremiah 50-51 as the “land of Chaldea.” America is not the “land of Chaldea.” But the spirit and spell of Babylon is pervasive in a culture that turns a deaf ear to the silent cry of 1.6 million abortions.
King Nebuchadnezzar and the Abundant Grace of God
Daniel chapter 4 is the record of an official public repentance before “the most high God.” It was issued by King Nebuchadnezzar himself. It took a pagan king to write the message in Daniel 4 to modern-day Americans, reminding us that God is Sovereign over nations. God saw fit to include it in the writings of Daniel as part of God’s inspired and inerrant Word. Daniel surely carried out the word of God given to Jeremiah (Daniel read that book, Dan. 9:2) to “pray” for Babylon and her king (see Jer. 29:5-8 on this page). We should do the same for our “king,” for God’s Grace is beyond our comprehension! If God saved Nebuchadnezzar, He can do the same for our leaders. Listen to these commentators on the king’s repentance in Daniel chapter 4...
...he recognized the truth of things, coming to what we would call a genuine repentance.

That so powerful an autocrat would humbly acknowledge the perils of his own pride and recount the punishment he suffered is an indication that he may indeed have found the true God in his heart. Many surprises await us in heaven. Jim Combs The Mysteries Of The Book Of Daniel, p. 51
He was changed. He was saved. Only God can do that in a life...Nebuchadnezzar walked off the pages of Scripture...a thoroughly converted man praising God with all his heart and soul. I believe we will meet Nebuchadnezzar in heaven. Jerry Vines, John Phillips, Exploring The Book Of Daniel, p. 74
The entire chapter 4...is his own account of his conversion to God...In my study ...I was led to the conclusion that Nebuchadnezzar had become a truly saved man, therefore I expect to meet him in Heaven. Lehman Strauss, The Prophecies Of Daniel, p. 113
Warnings To America
Jesus taught us to “live by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.” (Mat. 4:4) How many words? Every word. That is, live according to what the Word of God— the Bible— teaches. The Bible does not teach “same-sex marriage.” Nor “a woman’s right to choose” whether her baby lives or dies. Nor a host of other sins exalted by the public stamp of approval in this country.
God gave a series of warnings to backsliding Judah in the book of Amos. Some were environmental catastrophes. Others were disease, or terror. But these ‘warnings’ soon turned to judgment.
Amos’ Warnings...Followed By Judgment
1. “lack of bread” —Famine
2. “I withheld the rain from you” —Drought
3. "I smote you with scorching wind ” —Environmental Disaster
4. "I sent a plague among you” —Disease
5. “I slew your young men by the sword” —War and/or Lawlessness
6. "I overthrew you as God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah” —Judgment and Destruction of the Nation
7. "Therefore, thus I will do to you ... Prepare to meet your God, O Israel."
For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction. (Rom. 15:4) From Amos 12:6-13 (above), “written in earlier times,” we have our “instruction.” May the salt and light resurface in the Church.
The Torment Of Lot
Lot, Abraham’s nephew, lived right in the middle of the gay capital of the world— Sodom & Gomorrah. (Gen. 18, 19) The wicked men of those cities had a gay rights parade right up to his doorstep. The Bible says Lot was “righteous,” and was “tormented day after day by their lawless deeds.” (2 Pet. 2:7-9) It is right for those in Christ to be tormented by what we see around us. It won’t last. For “as happened in the days of Lot...It will be just the same on the day that the Son of Man is revealed.” (Luke 17:28-30)
Given Over To Passions & Darkness When I was younger, it was shameful. It was there. But out of shame it was hidden in the “closet.”
In barely 50 years everything has been turned upside down. Nothing is "shameful". We have been “liberated” from the closet. Romans chapter one nails it... the “Gay Rights” agenda, supported and encouraged by our highest government leaders and institutions. Listen...
For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God, or give thanks; but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools... Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, that their bodies might be dishonored among them. For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie ... For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts ... as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper, being filled with all unrighteousness, ... and, although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them. (Romans 1:21-32)
We expect the “world” to vote for this darkness. But as Christians, let us be committed to vote for the Light.

America can still receive another generation of blessing.
Jeremiah 18:7-8 promises, (see Right...
"At one moment I might speak concerning a nation or concerning a kingdom to uproot, to pull down, or to destroy it; if that nation against which I have spoken turns from its evil, I will relent concerning the calamity I planned to bring on it.”
Judgment To America ???
There is a class and hierarchy of angels called “Watchers.”
They are holy angels. They are dispatched by God and sent from heaven to judge kings and nations. King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon encountered these Watchers in a dream in 553 BC.
'I was looking in the visions in my mind as I lay on my bed, and behold, an angelic watcher, a holy one, descended from heaven. 'He shouted out and spoke as follows: "Chop down the tree...” [which symbolized judgment on the king and his kingdom] "This sentence is by the decree of the angelic watchers, And the decision is a command of the holy ones, In order that the living may know That the Most High is ruler over the realm of mankind, And bestows it on whom He wishes...” (Dan 4:13-17)
The New Testament tells us that these Watchers are opposed by an army of unholy, demonic angels. These are the fallen angels of Satan.
America is in the whirlwind of this spiritual warfare. (Eph. 6:12) That is why we must put on the full armor of God, not only personally, but on behalf of our leaders, and pray for them, for when we pray for our leaders, we are praying for our nation. (Ezra 6:10; Jer. 29:7; 1 Tim. 2:1-2)
“Chop Down The Tree”
"This sentence is by the decree of the angelic watchers, ... In order that the living may know That the Most High is ruler over the realm of mankind...” (Daniel 4:13-17)
Our nation’s leaders have been under the eye of Angelic Watchers
Though our country has endured by the grace of God the many sins of our leaders and national sins by citizen agreement at the Voting Booth, it is only recently that we have departed wholesale from the founding principals of this nation, which are based on the Bible. Pray for changed hearts at the highest levels, and for national repentance. Biblical history teaches that this seldom happens except in the wake of national tragedy. Pray for our leaders and for peace in the Name of Jesus! (1 Tim 2:1-2; Col 3:17)
